Southeast Bank Limited is the Sponsor of Southeast Bank 1st Mutual Fund. Asset Manger is VIPB Asset Management Company Ltd. Nature of the Southeast Bank 1st Mutual Fund is Close-ended Mutual Fund of 10 (ten) years’ tenure. SEBL 1st Mutual Fund Size of the Fund is Tk. 100 crore divided into 100,000,000 units at par value of Tk.10 each. And Face value and Market lot Tk. 10.00 per unit; 500 units per lot. There Trustee and Custodian is Investment Corporation of Bangladesh.
Auditor is the Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co. SEBL 1st Mutual Fund main Objective is the objective of this Fund is to provide attractive risk adjusted returns to the unit holders by investing the proceeds in the Capital Market and Money Market. There Target group are Individuals, Institutions, Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRB), Mutual Funds and Collective Investment Scheme are eligible to apply for investment in the Fund. Dividend Minimum 70% realized income of the Fund will be distributed as dividend in Bangladeshi Taka only at the end of each accounting year. The Fund shall create a dividend equalization reserve fund to ensure consistency in dividend. There distribution time is the dividend will be distributed within 45 days from the date of declaration. Tax benefit: Income will be tax free up to a certain level, which is permitted as per the Finance Act.
