Bangladesh Medical & Dental Admission Test Date 23 September 2011

All the Government-Non Government medical and dental colleges admission test will be held on September 23 this year, for the first time, for both public and private institutions. This year admission test will be in online system. The admission form will be available on online and students can deposit the money with teletalk sim.

Director general for health services Khondaker Mohammed Shefyetullah said the new systems – combined test and online forms – are aimed at easing students’ ‘hassles.’


The health minister also said that before, only children of the rich, could secure admission to private medical colleges without minimum educational qualification.

“This year for the first time, we have taken the admission tests both for MBBS and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) for public and private institutions jointly, to ensure a minimum standard of the doctors.”
