Mahbuba Islam Rakhi won the most exciting beauty contest Lux channel i superstar 2010. After 6 months competition the beauty contest ended with Gala-round at 24/01/2011. Mahbuba Islam Rakhi became lux superstar 2010 , 1st runner up Moushumi Hamid and 2nd runner up Mehrin Islam. Mahbuba Islam Rakhi was awarded a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer, a role in an upcoming film, and a scholarship to study acting. The first and second runners up received cash prizes of Taka 3 lakh and Taka 1 lakh respectivelyThe awards were conferred on them by the Chairman of Unilever and Faridur Reza Sagar, Managing Director of Channel i.
The award giving ceremony was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
This year also impress television declared that they will cast as a heroin roll in an upcoming film who wins the first place of this competition. That means Mahbuba Islam Rakhi will debut on Dhallywood big scene soon.
